We’ve organized the country’s best flavors into nine simple categories, each curated by a local expert who knows exactly where the salt is sourced and where the woodsmoke smells the sweetest.

Peppers in Cream

€3.00 – €5.00

This is addictive. It’s a warm dip meant for "scooping" with fresh bread. Don't use a fork.

Traditional Pickles

€1.50 – €3.50

These are essential for any traditional dinner. The acidity of the pickled peppers perfectly balances the heavy meats.

Qebapa

€3.50 – €6.00

Ask for "T'lyen" so they soak the bread in the grill juices. It’s the only way to eat them like a local.

Balkan Burger

€3.00 – €4.50

Often stuffed with Kasar cheese. Cut it down the middle and let the cheese flow.

Suxhuk

€2.50 – €5.00

This is the spicy, dry-aged beef sausage. The "Gjakova" & "Peja" artisanal producers are the regional gold standard.

Roast Meat

€8.00 – €14.00

Usually lamb or veal, slow-roasted for hours. In traditional places, you often order this by weight (kilogram).
