In May, Kosovo sheds the last of spring’s restraint. Mountains turn fully green. Cafés spill onto pedestrian streets. The Sharr peaks still hold snow, but the lower trails are dry and welcoming. This is the month for long drives through Rugova Canyon, slow lunches by the river in Prizren, and waking up in a village kulla with the windows open.
